Courses Format

There are different types of courses. 

Short courses: Essential, Essential Plus, which deal with specific topics and Complete Courses: In Depth, Mastering English, which deal with wider areas of knowledge.

The lenght and duration are different for each type of course. You can do the short courses one by one and get credits for a complete course certificate, or you can do the complete course at once (In-Depth, Mastering English) which will include all the topics offered in the Essential courses.

This is the ideal course for in-service teachers or teacher trainees who teach these tenses and need to have a thorough understanding of them.

It will provide you with the metalanguage required both to teach your students and to prepare your classes and talk to other teachers.

You just need to have the right level of English and be interested in learning how to teach these topics to your students.

Content

The course will provide deep knowledge of the following points:

• Present Continuous: present and future uses
• Present Simple: present and future uses
• Contrast Simple Present & Present Continuous
• Spelling rules when adding ing or s/es
• Stative and Dynamic verbs: differences and uses.
• Tenses for each of them

Course Development

This is a 15/30-minute-course which can be done at any time,anywhere.

• You will watch a recorded Input Session which reproduces a real class, explaining the topics in depth.
• You will have access to our Virtual Campus where you will do the online practice to reinforce what you have learnt.
• You can refer to the extra material suggested for extra practice.
• You will do an evaluation quiz upon completion.

All the material needed for the course will be provided.

Assessment

Upon completion of the course, you will do a short quiz in our Virtual Campus to check your understanding of the topics explained.

The course will be completed when:

• You have watched the recorded Input Sessions.
• You have done the online practice suggested
• you have done and passed the final quiz

Certificates awarded

You will receive a Statement of Completion for you to save and print.

Credits obtained

You will get 14 credits for the Mastering English Course:  Grammar for Teachers (Language Awareness)

3. Details for payment

4. Login details and instructions
