Various Specific Courses

Deep analysis of the sounds and phonetic symbols through virtual interactive classes or pre-recorded lessons.

The course aims at providing advanced knowledge about the English sounds.

There will be thorough discussion for each of the phonemic symbols. We will explore together their place of articulation and the role of the air flow to achieve a correct pronunciation.

You will be able to recognise all the phonetic symbols and to improve your pronunciation applying the new knowledge of phonology as we will be practising in class how the sounds are articulated. We will see how the sounds and words are pronounced isolated and their different behaviour in connected speech.

Then you will be able to use this knowledge when teaching your own classes, helping your students to recognise the sounds and pronounce them correctly.
